Zorro now has the word Sport behind his name. This is to indicate that he has earned the prestigious Sport predicate from FPS/FHANA. The Sport predicate is earned when a horse has proven himself as a superior horse in competition. Not only must the horse achieve a high level in sport but he must also win at that level consistently. Zorro earned his Sport predicate in Dressage, competing and winning at the upper levels. On a recent trip to the USA, Raphael Hieliger, a former member of the Dutch Olympic Dressage Team stated that he was amazed he had to come all the way to Minnesota to ride the most talented Friesian he's ever ridden. (Zorro of course).

Zorro is our 11 year old Friesian stallion imported directly from Friesland in the Netherlands. He currently stands 16.2 hh and weights approx. 1400 lbs. Zorro's sire is Erik 351, one of the most beautiful Dutch approved stallions in the world. Zorro is everything we ever dreamed of in a Friesian stallion and more. Zorro is the modern Sporthorse type Friesian, long legged, short backed and able to work under himself for breathtaking extensions at the trot and canter. He has an amazing talent for piaffe and passage and will be shown this year at Pre St. George with our sights set on Grand Prix in the near future. He is known throughout the Midwest for his incredible beauty and he continues to amaze everyone with his talent and athletic ability. ( Zorro now has 7 USDF All Breed Horse of the Year Awards and an IFSHA World Championship). Anyone who has seen Zorro in person can't help but be taken in by his wonderful personality.

Zorro always surprises us. He can still have fun and be wild. It's hard to remember he's ten and a World Champion at Dressage when you see him acting like this! We hope you enjoy it as much as he did.

He has had Inspection Site Champions and Reserve Champions with the AWS, FSHR, and the FHHR.
